Headshot of Victoria Chi

Heyyyyy

My name is Victoria and I’m a Korean American UXUI Designer from New Jersey.

I currently work at ZAIDYN by ZS, which is an AI-powered, cloud-native analytics platform specializing in life sciences. I'm on the Field Deployment team, working on a product that scales and aligns field teams to local markets, enabling real-time feedback between the field and leadership with flexible planning and incentive-driven performance. Before that, I started off on the ZAIDYN Design System team, working on a design system used for all ZAIDYN software products and several custom client applications. The beginning consisted of rebuilding the legacy system, eventually leading me to architect and maintain several component libraries, lead end-to-end design for new components/variants, and directly support 8+ product teams with system adoption.

I graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. (It was really strange to graduate on Zoom in my living room, but I’m glad I got to experience it with my cat.)

Pursuing a career in design was an easy decision for me. Creativity and art has always been a part of my life since a young age. As a child, my parents always signed me up for summer art programs which allowed me to explore different mediums. I also wrote and illustrated books about David, the magic pickle, in my free time. However, I realized in my teen years that I was passionate about understanding and establishing connections with others. The combination of having my own PC when I was only 9 years old, living the quiet-kid-to-extrovert trope, and a desire to express creativity led me to become a UXUI designer. (A small honorable mention to iced coffee, as well.) There’s a lot more to it, but I’ll save that for when we chat. I need to be a bit mysterious..

I’m always searching for opportunities that will improve and develop my skills (not limited to just design). Please feel free to send an email or connect on LinkedIn. Let's work together, collaborate on a project, or just have a simple chat!
